The DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation has been the Title Sponsor for The Blue Salute annual fundraiser since 2019. In 2025, the event raised over $181,000. Proceeds support the long-running programs of the Greensboro Police Foundation, including major equipment grants, scholarships, officer recognition activities and community outreach initiatives.
The DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation made a 5-year pledge (2018-2022) to support the Greensboro Police Foundation. The mission of the Greensboro Police Foundation is to supplement funding for innovative police programs, equipment and technology that make the Greensboro, NC community a safer place to live, work and visit (see News Release).
The commitment by the DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation helped to supplement and enhance existing resources to make the Greensboro Police Department better, stronger and safer by helping to fund programs that include:
- Cutting edge equipment, training and technology to fight crime
- Officer safety, wellness and recognition
- Community partnerships and advocacy
The DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation made an additional contribution of $25,000 in 2020. The funds were used to purchase equipment that help create a safer city for all people (see News Release).
