About the Foundation

The Louis DeJoy and Aldona Wos Family Foundation was created in 2005 to support and invest in organizations that provide opportunities for individuals to advance their education, explore career options, broaden their horizons, forge lasting relationships and become engaged contributors to their communities and society.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help eliminate financial hardship and prepare prospective students for attendance and success at Elon University by providing financial, academic, and motivational support and exposure to business careers, life skills, and professional development to selected participants who have the characteristics and desire for the unique brand of high-impact educational experiences, and for whom an Elon University education would be otherwise financially unreachable.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the DeJoy-Wos Family Foundation Scholarship Program is to help deserving and high-performing Greensboro area high school students develop academic and professional skills that will help them in pursuing their career goals.

Our Goal

The goal of the DeJoy-Wos Family Foundation Scholarship Program is to align with Elon University’s Odyssey Program to develop students from Guilford County Title I Public schools to achieve a 100% college graduation rate with a degree in business or engineering in four years and grow the selected participants into consequential leaders in our nation.
