The DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation provided an endowment to the Cone Health Center for Children as part of a celebration honoring Cone Health CEO Emeritus Tim Rice at his retirement. The funds raised at the event established an endowment for the Tim and Carolynn Rice Center for Child & Adolescent Health – Primary Care Residence Room.
The center provides a wide range of services to children and adolescents in need from birth to age 21 who are chronically ill, developmentally delayed or affected by mental health issues. The endowment will provide educational materials, emergency patient services, dental supplies, medication and transportation to children who depend on the center for medical care.
